Joshua Tarling Career
He demonstrated his cycling prowess from a young age. He became a two-time British champion, claiming victories in the points and team pursuit at the 2022 British Track Championships. But his successes did not stop there. In 2022 he won the World Junior Time Trial Championships, an improvement on the silver medal he had won at the same event in 2021.
The year 2023 marked an important milestone in his career. He joined the UCI WorldTeam Ineos Grenadiers with a three-year contract. In the same year, at just 19, he became the youngest winner of the British national elite men’s time trial championship. His remarkable performances continued as he secured a third-place finish at the UCI Road World Championships – Men’s time trial. Later in September 2023, Tarling outperformed his competitors to win the European Time Trial Championship.
Throughout his career he collected numerous awards, including victories at the UEC Junior European Championships and the National Junior Championships. His dedication, skill and passion for the sport have made him one of the most promising cyclists of his generation.
