Wrocław (Polish: Wrocław, Silesian: Brassel) is a large city in the Polish voivodeship of Lower Silesia and its capital. Wrocław is a popular destination mainly because of the Old Town around the Ring (Stare Miasto) and the Sand Island and Cathedral Island (Wyspa Piasek/Ostrów Tumski).
