On 16 July 2023, the Women’s Cycling Grand Prix took place for the first time. This UCI professional one-day race for women attracted an international field of 120 riders. The challenging course offered a varied and exciting race. The start was in the Stuttgart region (Tamm), while the finish was in Stuttgart. The approximately 105-kilometre course led through the districts of Ludwigsburg and Böblingen and presented the female riders with numerous challenges.
The winner after 104 kilometres was the Italian Elena PIRRONE from Team Israel Premier Tech Roland after 2:39:47 hours. The Austrian Kathrin SCHWEINBERGER from Team CERATIZIT-WNT Pro Cycling came in second. Linda RIEDMANN came in third place.
The 42nd edition of the Oderrundfahrt took place from 6 July to 9 July around Frankfurt (Oder). The traditional cycling event in the Märkisch-Oderland / Brandenburg region led the participating cyclists over a total of five stages to Seelow (Märkisch-Oderland). For the first time, women and juniors also took part in the cycling race this year. The organisers counted a total of 80 female cyclists (12 teams) and 200 male cyclists.

On Sunday 2 July 2023, an international professional cycling race for women took place in the German capital. The race was held in UCI category 1.2 and covered a distance of 100 kilometres. One day earlier, on 1 July 2023, a criterium over about 70 kilometres was held.
Caroline Kirk Schad from the Danish team ACR Women won the criterium on Saturday to kick off the “Tour de Berlin Feminin”. Schad won the 72-kilometre circuit (24 laps of 3 km each) on the Straße des 17. On the second day of the main race, Elena Hartmann from Team Israel Premier Tech – Roland won the Tour de Berlin Feminin. The 32-year-old Swiss won with a lead of 23 seconds. Belgian Marith Vanhove from Team Parkhotel Valkenburg came in second ahead of Italian Martina Alzini from Team Cofidis. The German Road Cycling Championships (nationals) of the U23 Cycling Youngsters and the Elite Women and Men took place in 2023 from 23 to 25 June 2023 in Donaueschingen and in Bad Dürrheim in the Black Forest. Competitions were held in the individual time trial and the road race. The time trial covered a 32.2-kilometre course. The circuit of the road race is almost 27 kilometres long and has about 360 metres of altitude. The women will complete the course five times, covering 135 kilometres, while the men will ride the course eight times, covering 215 kilometres.

The traditional cycling race the International Tour of Thuringia for Women (since 2017 officially called the International LOTTO Thuringia Ladies Tour) takes place annually in eastern Thuringia. The Tour is classified in the highest UCI category and is so far the only professional stage race for women in Germany. In 2023, the LOTTO Thuringia Ladies Tour took place as usual at the end of May over six stages between 23 May and 28 May. Six stages – 651 kilometres – 17 teams from eight nations.
