The Simac Ladies Tour 2021, also known as the Holland Ladies Tour, is a road race for professional women cyclists. It took place from 24 August to 29 August in the Netherlands over a prologue and five stages. The 23rd edition of the Tour is part of the 2021 UCI Women’s World Tour.

Here you can find pictures from the second stage on 26 August a time trial in Gennep over 17 kilometres. The stage was won by Marlen Reusser from Switzerland (Team: Alé BTC Ljubljana) ahead of Ellen van Dijk from the Netherlands (Team Trek-Segafredo) and Chantal van den Broek-Blaak also from the Netherlands (Team SD Worx).

The final score of the match in front of 7,500 spectators was 1:4. The scorers: 0:1 Cagatay Kader (47th minute), 0:2 Cagatay Kader (56th minute), 1:2 Sandro Plechaty (60th minute), 1:3 Cagatay Kader (72nd minute) and 1:4 Timo Mehlich (89th minute). The Hoppegarten racecourse hosted twelve different races around the 131st Berlin Grand Prix on Sunday, 8 August 2021. This time, 8,500 spectators were allowed to be there. The sporting highlight (Group I, 155,000 euros, 2,400 metres) was secured by Alpinista under jockey Luke Morris (from Newmarket in England and trained by Sir Mark Prescott) in a gripping race.

In the highlight of the Berlin racing season, the winners relegated the favourite and defending champion Torquator Tasso under Rene Piechulek and co-favourite Walton Street under James Doyle to second and third place.

The Berlin Brandenburg Stockcar Championship has been held since 2009. The venue is usually the Stockcar Arena Altlandsberg. The aim is to give drivers from the region the opportunity to compete with their opponents and vehicles in a race where everything that is forbidden in normal road traffic is allowed, and to win the corresponding trophies.

Hoppegarten racecourse hosted its fourth race day of the current season on Sunday, 18 July 2021. This time, 1,000 spectators were allowed to attend. The sporting highlight was the Dreamgirl Fürstenberg race (Group III, 2,400 metres, 33,000 euros). A total of 12 races were on the programme.

Winner of the day: Adrian under star jockey Andrasch Starke, who safely won the Dreamgirl Fürstenberg race (Group III, 33,000 EUR) ahead of Nubius (Rene Piechulek) and Deia (Bauyrzhan Murzabayev). It was the second victory in the second start of the day for the successful German jockey.

The Giro d’Italia Donne 2021 (also known as Giro Rosa) is the 32nd edition of the Giro d’Italia Femminile. It is a legendary road cycling stage race for women in professional cycling. The race started on July 2 and ended on July 11, 2021. The professional race goes through northern Italy and is one of the most prestigious races in women’s cycling. In a total of ten stages, the women cover more than 1,000 kilometers. In the end, Anna van der Breggen from the Netherlands won ahead of Ashleigh Moolman and Demi Vollering.

The 2021 Giro d’Italia Donne (also known as Giro Rosa) was the 32nd edition of the Giro d’Italia Femminile. This is a professional road cycling stage race for women. The fifth stage, on July 6, 2021, was a road race of 120.1 kilometers and went from Milan to Carugate.

As in the stages before, again a Dutch woman could climb the podium. The race was won by Lorena Wiebes of Team DSM ahead of Denmark’s Emma Norsgaard Jørgensen of Movistar Team and Marianne Vos from the Netherlands of Team Jumbo-Visma. Lucinda Brand of Team Trek-Segafredo followed in fourth place, also from the Netherlands. Fifth through ninth were Italians Marta Bastianelli (Alé BTC Ljubljana), Maria Giulia Confalonieri (Ceratizit-WNT Pro Cycling), Sofia Bertizzolo (Liv Racing), Eleonora Gasparrini (Valcar-Travel & Service) and Maria Vittoria Sperotto (A.R. Monex). Tenth place was taken by Coryn Rivera from the USA of Team DSM.

The fourth stage of the Giro d’Italia Donne 2021 on July 5, 2021 was an individual time trial from Formazza (Fondovalle) to Riale di Formazza Cascata del Toce over 11.2 kilometers.

The winner of the individual time trial (ITT) on this fourth stage of the Giro d’Italia Femminile was Anna van der Breggen from the Netherlands of Team SD Worx. Second place went to her teammate Demi Vollering from the Netherlands ahead of Grace Brown from Australia from Team BikeExchange.
