Our photos of the women’s mountain bike cross-country XCO competition in Paris ( Saint Quentin en Yvelines – Paris – Elancourt Hill) on 28 July 2024 are online. The course was set up especially for these games on the Colline d’Élancourt in the western outskirts of Paris. The course, on which seven laps were ridden, was 4.4 km long and had climbs totalling 110 metres in altitude. 36 athletes from 28 countries took part.
Frenchwoman Pauline Ferrand-Prévot secured the Olympic victory and thus the gold medal in 1:26:02 hours. The American Haley Batten took silver. Bronze went to Jenny Rissveds from Sweden.
